Launch of the AAI Scorecard on Women

As World AIDS Day (1 December) approaches, AIDS Accountability International will release the first ever global scorecard analyzing country responses to the specific needs and vulnerabilities of women in the context of the AIDS epidemic. This independent assessment, developed through a comprehensive consultative process with global health experts and civil society representatives from across the world, evaluates data that all governments provide as part of the 2001 United Nations Declaration of Commitment on HIV/AIDS .

AAI calls for accountability in the public health sector

The South African Institute of Health Care Managers (SAIHCM), the South African HIV Clinicians Society (SAHIVCS) and AIDS Accountability International (AAI) are calling on the Department of Health (DOH) to rapidly overhaul the management of pharmaceutical systems within the public health sector.
